Once, Microsoft offered $15 billion for facebook buy out.

At Le Web conference in Paris, Microsoft M&A executive Fritz Lanman admitted that Microsoft's once tried to buy Facebook for $15bn.

For this Steve Ballmer, Microsoft's chief executive, had put some effort and said to made two exclusive trips meet Zuckerberg at the company's HQ in Palo Alto, California.

Zuckerberg refused Ballmer offer as Zuckerberg didn't like to make things out of his control, instead settled for a $240m investment in Facebook in October 2007, award 1.6 per cent of the facebook shares collaborate as advertising partners.
