Seems like Windows 7 app store for developer is taking shape. Microsoft's will now start paying from end of January and now the website has its first reporting tools, showing stats to see downloads, info-graphics(country downloads).
They fixed bug in the app submission process and enabled mobile ads for apps built on the XNA Framework normally used by games.
According to Todd Brix, Windows 7 mobile store has nearly 4,000 apps and 18,000 registered developers.
Payouts include “payment on all sales of Windows Phone 7 apps and games that occurred after the phones became available in October 2010 through the end of December 2010.”
After January 2011, Microsoft will process developer payouts on a monthly basis, for both Windows Phone 6.x and Windows Phone 7 apps.
Microsoft now allows third-party developers to create Windows Phone 7 apps using Visual Basic, having released its new Visual Basic for Windows Phone Developer Tools—RTW Nov. 29.
