For the straight six months, Microsoft's Kinect was the best-selling video-game console in the U.S, selling 1.37 million consoles in November alone and expects to sell more than 5 million kinect by this year end, according to David Dennis, group product manager with Xbox.
Sales of the Xbox 360 Kinect made it the hottest-selling video game accessory so far this year, according to market research firm NPD Group.
When it comes to serious gaming, Activision Blizzard Inc.'s (ATVI) "Call of Duty: Black Ops" sold 8.4 million units in US alone making it the seventh best-selling game ever based on first-month sales. The second and third best-selling games in November were "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" and "Just Dance 2," both from Ubisoft Entertainment SA.
